Järviwiki:Multilanguage policy
Since January 2012 an English and Swedish version of the user interface of Järviwiki have been available in addition to the original Finnish one. No other language versions are currently available or even under consideration.
Changing the language
You can change the language of the user interface by selecting "Suomi" for Finnish, "Svenska" for Swedish or "English" for English in the tabs above the main menu in the left sidebar.
Registered users can change their default language in the "Internationalisation" section of the {{#ifusercan:edit|Järviwiki:Hiekkalaatikko|user preferences|user preferences}}.
Changing the language will only affect the user interface not the actual content. Some pages have language versions, though, and in such a case a link to the page in your user interface language will be presented in the beginning of the content. Some pages might, on the other hand, be multilingual in which different text blocks are showed based on the language of the user interface.
The translation work of Järviwiki is still very much in progress, and many key features (like dates!) are still showing in Finnish only.
Authoring content in different languages
Guidelines on how to author content in different languages are under construction and will be made available in a couple of weeks.
