To register a new user account, you need a valid e-mail address. E-mail verification is a common way of ensuring that an account was created by a real person. You can also order a new password for your registered e-mail address, if you forget the old one.

Creating a new user account
To get started, click "Create account" on the top right of any Lake-seawiki page. Enter your desired user name and password, as well as a valid email address.
Account verification
After entering your user information, click "Create account". If the desired user name is available, your account is now created and a verification message will be sent to your email address. It contains an activation link, which you must click to confirm your registration.
Login in to service
After registering, you can log in by clicking "Log in" and entering your credentials. Alternatively, you can choose the option "Keep me logged in" to be automatically logged in the next time you visit Lake-seawiki using the same device. Do not enable this option if you use Lake-seawiki from a public computer, e.g. in a library.
Restoring your password
If you have forgotten your password, you can order a new one by choosing Forgot your password? on the login form. Lake-seawiki will send you a temporary password, with which you can log in and create a new one.
